In tribute to Professor Shaheen, we will be screening the documentary Reel Bad Arabs: How Hollywood Vilifies a People, based on his book analyzing more than 1000 films.

Dr Jack Shaheen (September 21, 1935 – July 9, 2017), Professor Emeritus at Southern Illinois University, was a renowned expert on the racial stereotyping of Arabs and Muslims.
