World Interfaith Harmony Week – Celebrating & Moving Forward

Since 2013, Toronto has been celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week, marked annually by the United Nations during the first week of February.  Its purpose is to “bring together all people of good will, regardless of faith or no faith, to learn about each other and find ways to work together on common agendas”.  The Toronto steering committee is pleased to announce that this year, out of 93 groups globally, its activities for the week received third prize from King Abdullah II of Jordan, founder of the World Interfaith Harmony Week initiative.

Please join us on Tuesday May 26 to celebrate this achievement, brainstorm plans for next year, connect with others engaged in interfaith work, and learn how to become more involved.  Refreshments will be served.*

Location: Lower Social Room, Noor Cultural Centre
